Modulab Eindhoven is a collective of electronic musicians with a monthly event at Stroomhuis in Eindhoven. the Modulab founders are: Jurgen Winkel and Allard Krijger.

Modulab organizes monthly electronic music events starting may 4 2017. We concentrate on modular synthesizer performances but welcome any related music performances featuring self-built, experimental and traditional instruments. You also can find us at festivals or occasional one-offs in the region of the city of Eindhoven, in the south of The Netherlands or at festivals "everywhere".

MELANCHOLYTRON

MELANCHOLYTRON is a book with illustrated melancholic stories. When you buy the book it comes with a synthesizer developed by A//ard Krijger, Joran Jessurun and Edwin van den Oetelaar. This instrument produces melancholic sounds, that fit the stories, or any melancholic music you want to make with it. Suitable for film-, game- or any kind of music that needs a touch of melancholy.

THE HEISENBERG COMPENSATORS

This was a project of Stefan Robbers and A//ard Krijger.
Ambient music with modular synthesizers, guitars, loopers and lots of FX.
Unfortunatly this project has come to a tragic ending during Corona. Apparently Stefan and Allard differed so much in opinion about how to deal with that situation that Stefan felt compelled to abruptly break off all contact. Much to Allard's sorrow. A sad example of the polarization during that time. All the content of the Heisenberg compensators is deleted by Stefan, so no link here anymore.
At this point there is not much else than to hope for better days where this friendship can be restored.
